How Do Clear Aligners Work?

You progress through a series of aligners and attend follow-up appointments so Dr. Sri can monitor your progress. Some treatment plans also require small, tooth-colored attachments to help guide tooth movement.

Are Clear Aligners Right for Me?

Clear aligners can address many cases of crowding, spacing, and certain bite problems. They may be suitable for teens and adults, depending on their dental health and treatment needs.

During your consultation, Dr. Sri will review your goals, examine your teeth and bite, and discuss your options. Some cases may require braces or referral to an orthodontist.

What Should I Expect During Treatment?

Consistent wear is essential. Follow your prescribed schedule for wearing your aligners and changing to the next set. Remove them for meals and for brushing and flossing, and follow the cleaning instructions provided.

You may notice temporary pressure or tenderness when starting a new set. Treatment length varies depending on the tooth movements needed and how consistently you wear your aligners.

Maintaining Your Results

After treatment, retainers help keep your teeth in their new positions. Follow your recommended retainer schedule and continue regular dental visits to maintain your smile.
